I'm planning on getting the 13-inch MacBookPro. Will the Sims 3 work on my new computer?
I seem to be having trouble running The Sims 3 on my new Retina Macbook Pro 15' (Mid-2017). The specs are as follows: OS: macOS Sierra (10.12.5) Processor: 2.9 GHz Intel Core i7 Memory: 16GB 2133MHz LPDDR3 Graphics: Radeon Pro 560 w/ 4GB VRAM, Intel HD. I've tested The Sims 3 on the new 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display (2.4GHz/8GB/256GB). The game is perfectly playable on medium-high settings at 1280x800. I have only Seasons installed. While in Edit Town mode, the game did maintain around 35-40fps, which to me looked very fluid. When I play Sims on my MacBook Pro, I have a cooling tray with a fan that plugs into my USB slot. I also have a standing floor fan (set on Low) aimed at the area that gets so hot. Works like a charm. Also, using cheats and building lots are what tend to burn my laptops up. Before I figured out the cooling thing, i'd crash in Build Mode all the.

You can but make sure you upgrade your RAM to 16GB - you can't do that through Apple..
Autodesk is a memory intensive program and the same goes with 3D Studio Max...
Another suggeston if you must use a 13 inch is to buy the base 13 inch Macbook Pro and upgrade the RAM to 16GB and install a SSD to make it perform fast.
Another option is to get a refurbished 15 Inch Macbook Pro and do the RAM upgrade yourself..Advantage going 15 Inch is because it has it's own discrete graphics adapter rather than the built in Intel video.can you get emoji on the macbook pro? somebody please help me.

Yes, The Sims 3 and all its expansions are perfectly playable on the MacBook Pro with Retina display (though I don't recommend installing it using Remote Disc as it will take a couple of hours at best to completely install everything).
Playing it at 2880 x 1800 makes everything look great.. except for the incredibly small UI elements. The game looks slightly fuzzy at 1440 x 900, which is to be expected given how Apple handles scaling with the Retina display. If you can't live with the fuzziness, you'll have to find a happy medium between 1440 x 900 and 2880 x 1800. And hey, if you decide you can play it at 2880 x 1800, more power to you!what do you do need if your itunes songs will not play on a macbook pro?

ClintonI have put the Sims Medieval disk into my Mac and it will make a noise like it is tryint to load it, but then it just spits it back out. I looked in the instructions and it says that I need to put the disk in and a disk icon should appear on my desktop and I need to click it, but that never happens. My disk says WIN/MAC DVD ROM. I am assuming that means that it is compatiable with a MAC. Can someone help with this. Is there some sort of driver that I need to download?

This is a huge problem for me because I do all my office scheduling on the iPad or iPhone but rely on the MakeBookPro to print out daily client lists. I REALLY need to get this fixed..it is causing major business issues. ' No one so far has had a fix.. :(
